Greece Postpones E-Delivery Rollout to Facilitate Business Readiness
Postponement Announcement:
The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (IAPR) in Greece has officially announced a delay in the implementation of the e-delivery system. Initially scheduled to go live on December 1, 2024, the system's launch has been postponed to provide businesses with additional time to adapt to the new digital framework for tracking the movement of goods.
Updated Implementation Schedule:
Phase One: The first phase will now commence on April 1, 2025. This phase will focus on select sectors and introduce essential shipping document functionalities.
Phase Two: The second phase, expanding compliance requirements to all businesses, will begin on October 1, 2025. This stage will require more detailed reporting and broader adherence.
This postponement aims to ensure a smoother transition for businesses, allowing them to better prepare for the upcoming digital requirements.
