Announcing the New ANAF Information System Interface for GPS Monitoring Solutions in Romania

ANAF Information System Interface, specifically designed for GPS monitoring solutions updated. These updates aim to streamline processes and enhance the efficiency of GPS data transmission for carriers in Romania. Here’s a summary of the key functionalities and changes included in this update.

Key Updates and Features

  1. Authentication and Authorization

    • Authentication: Applications providing GPS monitoring solutions will now use server certificates issued by ANAF to authenticate.

    • Provider Registration: GPS monitoring solution providers must register on the ANAF portal and request a certificate based on a Certificate Signing Request (CSR).

  2. GPS Data Transmission

    • Transmission Methods: Carriers have two options for transmitting GPS data:

      • Contracting services from registered GPS monitoring solution providers (a public list is available on the ANAF portal).

      • Using the eTransport GPS mobile applications (available on Android and iOS) provided by ANAF.

    • eTransport Codes: At the start of transport, carriers will enter eTransport codes (UIT) into the GPS application. Once the transport is completed, these codes will be removed from the system.

  3. Data Structure

    • Transmission Frequency: Data will be transmitted every two minutes, ensuring at least a 98% success rate in case of technical issues.

    • API Details: Data will be sent to ANAF in JSON format. Each API call can include up to 500 GPS positions, with a limit of 10 calls per second.

    • Response Codes: Successful transmissions will return a 200 code. Error codes include 400, 403, 404, 405, 500, and 503.

These updates aim to enhance the functionality and user experience of the ANAF Information System Interface for GPS monitoring solutions in Romania. Thank you for your continued support and feedback. For any questions or further assistance, please contact our support team.
