The Guide to the National e-Transport System has been developed to digitalize ANAF
The e-Transport Guide, developed by the Ministry of Finance and the National Financial Administration Authority, informs taxpayers who carry out national and international transportations with high financial risks. Additionally, Transport operators are required to provide real-time positioning data of their vehicles along the route by reporting in the e-Transportation system. This system aims to prevent fraud and tax evasion in road freight transportation, ensure fair competition and minimize financial losses.
The RO e-Transport System monitors vehicles carrying goods with a technically permissible maximum weight of at least 2.5 tonnes and high financial risk. Data declaration obligations vary depending on the type of transport and cover Romanian suppliers, economic operators, recipients, beneficiaries and depositors. Road carriers must ensure the transfer of positioning data, equip vehicles with the necessary devices and provide drivers with unique codes to identify shipments.
